Sir John Arthur "Jack" Brabham, AO, OBE (2 April 1926 – 19 May 2014) was an Australian racing driver who was Formula One champion in 1959, 1960 and 1966. He was a founder of the Brabham racing team and race car constructor that bore his name. He died at his home on the Gold Coast on 19 May 2014, aged 88, following a lengthy battle with liver disease.
